Channdrika Agro Foods started its journey way back in 2004, when our founder became the main distributor and stockist of food grains to be distributed to BPL families. The experience we gained was amazing. We not only gained in In-depth knowledge of agro commodities trading, but were also able to see first-hand, the problems faced by our farmers, and lack of rural infrastructure.
With a vision to contribute to rural economy, and increase the income of farmers, we started Channdrika Agro Foods Private Limited With three directors Amit Kumar Prusty, Rohit Kumar Prusty and Giridhari Prusty. We started our first rice processing plant at Kankada, Karanjia in 2011, with a capacity of 48 tons per day and started production of Parboiled Rice, Raw Rice, Steamed Rice, Single boiled Rice, Half boiled Rice etc. By sourcing directly from farmers, and maintaining stringent quality control, we were able to provide better quality products. Our quality was loved in Odisha and Southern States, and soon we became one of the best-known brands.
We kept on investing heavily in infrastructure enhancement and new technology across the board, with a vision to have a presence across all agro products under our brand Nature's Gold. Today we have a wide range of Agro Products under Cereals & Millets, Dal & Pulses, Sugar & Jaggery, Flours, Spices & Condiments, Honey, Juice, Oil, Ready to Eat, Breakfast & Cereals, Dry Fruits, Papad, Snacks, Tea, Cookies and Jams & Spreads. All our products are sourced directly from Farmers and processed at our State of Art facilities. We maintain stringent quality and hygiene controls, and best quality of packing materials.
The foundation of our beliefs remains contributing to rural economy and enhancing the lives of our farmers. We train farmers in best agricultural practises, inform them of latest scientific advances, fund their sowing expenses, and equip them to reap best quality organic produce.
