Job Description |
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Prepare the monthly forecasted cash flow and measure the same with actual of corresponding period. · Take ownership of all inventory to include both in quantity and value. · Publish monthly stock statement in Qty and Value terms. ·
Get periodic monthly /
quarterly stock audit performed in all the business units. · Also if the same needs reconciliation of cost with P&L than the same needs to be routinely prepared. · Monitor both payables and receivables. See that advances as paid are recovered timely ·
Prepare Annual Business
Plan and Rolling Quarterly Budget on time · Ensure all statutory payments are made on time such as GST, TDS, PF, etc · GST, VAT, Excise, Customs, Income Tax, etc Refunds if any should be vigorously followed up. · Estimate Advance Tax accurately and ensure timely deposit of the same · Track the Open Purchase Orders for the month. Also analyses the PO register every month and come out with the executive summary · The Order Book is to be critically evaluated and the orders in hand should be earmarked with the stocks in hand or at the third party. · Value of future revenue should be exhibited clearly. · Ensure that Statutory Audit / Tax Audit is carried out by auditors on time · Ensure that adequate insurance is being taken for the assets of the Company and see that all the covenants of the insurers are fully followed. · Track progress of the Company and review the tasks to be achieved on agreed milestones. Thereafter, bring out the executive summary on a monthly basis wherein critical analysis of the financials. If needed, develop customized reporting modules wherein Company activity is routinely appraised and documented. · Report on monthly basis for each of the unit, budget burnt, revenue, billing, cash flows, slippages, key milestone achieved as well as achievable. · Analyze and critically evaluate the pricing and cost model and billing procedure and ensure only correct invoices are raised as per the billing schedule after the through scrutiny of the same and see that its realization comes on time. · Accurately forecast in the monthly MIS the future revenue, cost, profitability, margin, free cash and manpower utilization. · Prepare the monthly MIS on the profitability statement, analysis of the cost incurred, comparison with the budget or the forecast with reason for the variance, along with the ageing analysis of the receivables, payables, cash flow statement along with a statement of clear dues from clients. · On a monthly basis analyze the total manpower cost for individual units and identify the employees on the overhead which needs deployment. · Simultaneously, output of the manpower deployed on the Company to be critically evaluated. · Manage Company budget on a monthly basis and identify the gap with remarks for the variances. · Monitor the Company unit wise production and maximization plan and comment on the progress made each month. · Should be the interface between accounts and the production and other departments · Should strive to arrange, share, assist in any information/issues/data pertaining to each of the associated departments and endeavor to resolve the long pending issues if any. · Prepare and monitor the statement of indirect cost associated with each of the unit and location. · Preparation of Annual Unit wise Budget along with its forecasted cash flow statement and scheduling of expenditures and revenue should be undertaken on a yearly basis. · Monitor Key Project KPI and report the same on a monthly basis. Maintain Cost as approved by the management and identify opportunities for cost saving. · Support the management in arranging finance through banks or financial institutions. · Prepare any kind of presentation materials for management reports along with any internal or external ad-hoc reports through data gathering, analyzing, and summarizing the relevant information from the departments/projects. · Create or participate in creation of Company documentation, contracts, agreements, MOUs letter of undertaking etc. · Provide training to all concerned. · In discharging the duties to follow Company policies, procedures and methodologies. · Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. |
